Sara Sparrow began making greeting cards with The Print Shop software as a wee tot in the early 80's. Making design decisions and writing comical copy for her family was her number one jam. And instead of "playing" with her dolls, she staged them in themed-scenes to photograph with her kiddie camera—a budding art director at the age 5.
In 2006, older and wiser, she graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Communication Design. With a fire in her belly, she moved to Minneapolis, MN to start her career in advertising. Her experience working at agencies and design firms, as well as freelancing, has primarily been in branding, marketing campaigns, packaging, and catalog design. She is fueled by conceptual and strategic thinking, and aspires to be an art director someday.
In her spare time, she dances, bowls, dogsits, and serves on the board of a local non-profit. Additionally, she likes curating her aesthetic on Instagram, traveling, making art, and daydreaming of how she would decorate her imaginary farmhouse.
